Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Whisk flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, and salt in a bowl.
- In a large bowl, beat softened butter with both sugars until creamy, about 2 minutes.
- Beat in egg and vanilla until combined.
- Stir in the flour mixture until just combined, then fold in chocolate chips.
- Scoop rounded tablespoons of dough onto the baking sheet, spacing 2 inches apart.

- Cool on baking sheet 5 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack.
Notes
