Ingredients

  • 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1 cup butterscotch chips
  • 2 cups chow mein noodles
  • 1 cup pastel-colored mini egg candies

Instructions

  1. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a large microwave-safe bowl, combine chocolate chips and butterscotch chips.
  3. Microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring between each, until completely melted and smooth (about 1-2 minutes total).
  4. Fold in the chow mein noodles until evenly coated with the chocolate mixture.
  5. Using a spoon, drop 12 mounds of the mixture onto the prepared baking sheet.
  6. Create a small indentation in the center of each mound with the back of a spoon to form a nest shape.
  7. Immediately place 3-4 mini egg candies in the center of each nest while the chocolate is still soft.
  8. Refrigerate for 10 minutes until set.
  9. Serve immediately or store in an airtight container.

Notes

You can substitute white chocolate chips for butterscotch chips if preferred. Make sure to work quickly when forming the nests, as the chocolate mixture will begin to set as it cools.
